I have a Red Octane Ignition (not the 2.0), have had since January, and it started being weird on me. Every so often, the bottom arrow will just lock into place, as if my foot was on it, but my foot isn't.

This causes me to fail sometimes, or not get nearly as good of a score as I could have. It went out during So Deep the first time I beat it, so I was surprised I even survived.

Has anyone had a similar occurance? I'm not asking for a "how-to" or anything, just some ideas as what I could do that 'might' help the situation.

I had this problem with my first soft pad. Half of my family was using it and the beginners always STOMPED way too hard on the pad. Obviously the result was the right arrow doing exactly what you said. Perhaps stepping to hard messed up the sensors, I'm afraid you'll have to bite the dust and buy a new one....soft pads are pretty hard to fix anyway. I went out and bought 2 new pads, an ignition 2.0 for $99 for myself and a $15 cheap generic pad at EBgames for everyone else.

Now that is funny stuff.

But yeah you can't really fix a soft pad. Your best bet to save you lots of money in the long run.. buy a CF. $300.00 now and no more fixing. :-p
