Hi everyone!

I'm new to DDR and just received my first pad yesterday that I bought off eBay, and I must say it is definitely a cheapo pad. It slips all over the carpet and gets bunched up. It's just like a piece of cloth that lies on the floor. No good. I wanted to go cheap at first to make sure I liked it. Here is the one I bought:

Already on the next day I'm looking for a new pad. The thing is, I don't want to spend more than about $60 on TWO pads. I know that I'll have to sacrifice a LITTLE bit of quality due to this, but figured I'd ask for some help making up my mind.

Here are some pads I'm considering and the price is just about what I'd like to pay. I do need two pads. What do you think of these and which one would be the best?

I noticed one of them claims to have a one-inch foam insert and the other a 2-cm foam insert. I'm assuming both have non-slip surfaces. I hate when my cheap pad slides all over my carpeted floor and gets all bunched up!

This is mainly just an exercise program for me, and I won't be competing at the arcades or anything.

If you have used one of these please tell me how long it lasted, and how much slipping it did on the floor, etc.

Thanks in advance for your help!

This topic is most likely going to be closed and be redirected to Softpad discussion. Here's a quick answer before it does get closed.

Both ignition pads you listed aren't that great, being that the foam isn't dense or firm type. Take a look at these pads for dense foam.

i have the kind that you got and they work wonderfully once you mod them to a piece of cardboard or plywood. mine are still in very good condition after 7-8 months of fairly continous use.
