Has anyone seen any interesting videos of DDR being performed outside? There was one from a contest in California, of a DDR Extreme machine set up on a boardwalk, that was cool.

As insane as it sounds, I've been thinking about getting the DDR-Erie group to get a system (PS2) set up outside somewhere, and have two people play. Think it'd be kinda surreal with people doing DDR with coats and hats in the snow... (careful insulation of electronics would be a must.)

alot of the good freestyle tournaments i've seen, have been done outside.

Like SVGL 1&2 and AI, I'd really like to have a tournament outside it'd be cool.

All of the CBN freestyle videos were outside. I'm also pretty sure that the PA took place outside as well.

Outside tournaments are great, as long as the weather is great as well.

Those DDR tournaments reallk rock! I've only been to a few: The one at DJ Kunai's church in CA; CBN 1; the one at the anime store at Irvine Spectrum, and AI2 & AI3. Most memorable: The videos from bemanix.com, the Fiddlesticks tourney & the Milpitas DDR tournament! Is that a trip or what? Please reply, over! Thanks!

Wouldn't the outsidedness damage them? The dirt and sun-light and stuff? How did they maintain them?
It would seem that they would be ruined?
