Idea for new DDR game

I have an idea for a new DDR game. It would be called DDR Alternative, and instead of all techno and trance music it would have Alternative music. Does anyone else think this would be cool?

I think that'd be awesome! It'd definately attract more people to play, and it'd be a change, which would be cool.

i think it would be cool because the kind of music that DDR has aint exactly music that you would sit down and listen to.... unless you like techno.. which i hate

I dunno, I kinda think that DDR's music is listenable, and consider that it's not all just dance-techno. Cutie Chaser is a great example. I mean, DDR hasn't historically been non-dance, but if the music doesn't have a strong beat, it's hard to dance to in a DDR sense. Alternative dance has a coreographed feel to it. It, I think, isn't quite appropriate for DDR.

We've all had ideas like this. We don't need more threads for them, though. Dude, but I'm listening to DDR right now. I always have my mp3's playing while I'm on my computer. I love techno.

It all depends. Nop one (I think) wants to listen to Korn or something while playing. But I know I would like something like that. Listen to Atom And His Package. Its a blend of punk but It's all done by one man, which is Atom.

the only problem would have to be, is that it is hard as hell to find a song that has a good beat and a fast beat for all the difficutlies, i think linkin park songs do well, but we also need songs with more beat
