Is there anyway to get the "clap" assist in DWI?

Ok, I know that when you "test in DWI" with X-step when making DWIs, a clap assist (ala: training mode) is played on each step.

My quesiton is, is there any way to use this while playing regular DWI? Cause I hate to use SM because it requires an uber-fast computer to run any good (I'm running at 1.2 ghz with 320mb ram and a GF2 MX400 vid card and it STILL runs slower than molasses).
