Pad problems- any shred of hope left?

Hello there. So I've been playing DDR for a while, but only just recently bought it (I've "borrowed" it from a friend for the last 4 months

) , and am already experiencing problems with my pad. It's a soft pad from DDRgame (1-inch insert) and worked fine for the first two weeks, but now I'm having problems. I'll stand in the middle of the pad, and it will act as if I'm stepping on the right or left arrow. I'll even get off, and it will still have the problem. I realize that this is called "sticking" in these formas, but haven't really found a solid answer to my question: Is it salvagable, or do I need to get another pad? Help would be much appreciated.

I ordered it off amazon. The product itself is made by DDRgame, but I didn't buy it from them. would I still be able to get a repacement from them?

and I had done little investigation into good mats, which was stupid as hell, but my friends mat was the same deal, but a different maker, so I figured it'd be just as good. Extremely stupid of me, but yes.

I'm thinking about possibly just getting a medal pad. I'm not sure if I'll have enough money, but they don't have as many problems, and last a hell of a lot longer.

try emailing amazon... If not try taking it to walmart... i suggest you get a metal pad or build one
