I am building a machine to exact arcade specs. I was wondering if you could save scores on stepmania to a ps1/ps2 memory card. I have a multi-tap that can plug into a parallel port so i think to might be possible =/ _________________

Actually, I'm pretty sure SM 4.0 -IS-, as it's the ITG engine, essentially. Now getting/having your port numbers, on the other hand... !.! (Ask the SM forums about THAT.) |

SM has been able to write data to USB memory cards for quite a while - this wasn't new to 4.0. However, it depends on the computer being able to view the card as a filesystem. This is easy for USB sticks, but I'm pretty sure parallel-port memory card adaptors don't show up as disks, so Stepmania won't recognize them. |

3.95 is what ITG2 Arcade was based off of, and I'm assuming ITG PS2 was as well, but ITG2 PS2 was going to be based off of 4.0. Either way, this is a good question to ask at the Stepmania forums, as they'd know a lot more about it than we. |

ITGPS2 was based off the 4-20-05 build of 3.9... and ITG2PS2 was based off of another special build of 3.95. |
