keyboard mapping help!

hi, ive been noticing recently that i can't hit certain hands with my keyboard. i currently have it mapped to the 4 arrow keys. i can only hit the left.gif down.gif & right.gif arrows at the same time. the up.gif doesnt want to cooperate. suggestions?

your keyboard sucks. get another one or use different keys. no there is no way to fix this.

see at first i thought it was my keyboard

but i remapped it to different buttons thinking the up was broken or something. it keeps doing the same thing w the left down and right arrows will jump together but not the up. weird.

go into test input and try buttons until you find a configuration that'll work. If you can't find one, you're screwed with that keyboard.

thanks...i ended up mapping the right ctrl key to the up arrow and im using it with 4 arrow jumps/other hands involving the up arrow.

Your keyboard doesn't suck, most keyboards don't allow for input from all 4 arrow keys at once. Your solution sounds needlessly complicated. Map the arrows to 2, 4, 6 and 8 on your numpad (with the Numlock on). It will accept input from all 4 number keys at once. It'll take some getting used to, but that'll work out better in the long run as it's easier to do crossovers that way.
