Is there a way to base a noteskin on 2-beat intervals, rather than 1-beat ones? Just curious/experimentally speaking, I was going to try and create an "alternative Vivid cycle" that colors in a 200% cycle... (Steps 1 beat apart will alternate colors, half-beats colored like 1/16's, and so forth.)

Anybody know what part of metrics.ini controls that? I've already set "AnimationLengthInBeats" variables to 8, BTW.

Thanks.

Doesn't it already function that way?

Not exactly. Basically, the function of this "alternative" for pros is that with 0.5x on, the arrows will be COLORED like it's half the BPM as well... so 1/4's will alternate colors like 1/8's, 1/8's will be colored as if they were 1/16's, and so forth.

In the metrics.ini of the noteskin, there's a line that says TapNoteAnimationLengthInBeats=<number>. Just put the number of beats you want the animation to be.

Well, I -did- change that to 8, which slowed the color revolutions to every 2 beats, BUT the base beats are still the same (albeit cycle-slowed) color. It's certainly half of the effect I'm going for, (Did that with the "AdditionalNote" section, too), but I'm still unsure of "how to make each sequencial beat become an alternate color".

If it's not clear what I mean, take a screenshot of a song on 2x; that's what I'm trying to make songs look like on 1x. (If nothing else, to use on those last two stages of "nGenius Random -HAPPY MIX-"...)
