I've been having a LOT of trouble keeping up with extended runs at BPMs of 170 or above. I can hit the fast streams fine and score well on them, but as soon as there's a long run (ie. Ub3r R4ve, Air, Blue Army, Dokudenpa etc.), I lose it after a few seconds and can't recover.

Any tips for getting better at keeping up with longer runs?

Thanks.

(I play index, if it makes any difference)

play long streams on slower bpms and work your way up to faster songs.
or start with quasar, and up the music rate.

Hm, alright.

I'll work on upping Quasar's rate then.

Thanks

Take each stream a bit at a time. No one gets every song absolutely perfect on a sight read.

Is it endurance? or the reading of the notes?

Definitely endurance. It's not hard to read a 16th stream, even if you use Flat.

Ok, so in that case simply keep playing
Endurance really just comes with time
Be sure to play the longer, harder songs though to build up
I used a lot of Dragonforce songs to help me
Songs that are long w/ a lot of stream
I had your same problem
