Sometimes I feel like when I change from one DDR version to another (like playing Extreme 2 and then playing Max right after etc.) that I just start doing really bad. I dont really understand this, is there significant difference in different versions other than songs? Like for instance scoring?

I'm decent at DDR, I pass like 90% of 8 footers and like 60% of Catas. The only 10 I have accomplised is Sakura atm. However, I have been studying Paranoia 270 for like a week now and still cant get it. I have also been thinking if its not my fault that I still cant pass it. Ever since I have started playing (6 months) I have used a digital Labs flimsy, soft pad. Is it possible that it is the pad and not me? Maybe I should get a new pad?

Ty for reading. Like your input on those 2 questions.

Uh, yeah, definitely your pad.

And it's called PARANOiA Survivor. Read the songwheel tabs better, thanks.

if your still using a flimsy soft pad, you may want to get a BNS DX-extreme fusion foam pad. I personally have one and can pass almost every song in DDR and most ITG 12's on it without a bar. I've had it for almost half a year now and it's still working like it's brand new.

Don't worry, you are in the same position as I am difficulty-wise. Most 10s require a lot of stamina and balance to pass, which I have none of and will normally rely on a bar for. Basically, just keep practicing 9's until they are as easy going as 8's, then attempt something like MAX 300 (MAX).
