ITG controller

So my friend bought ITG and two of redoctanes thin soft pads. you know, the kinda yellowish-orange ones? well, we were playing two player, and they worked fine. then i decided i would try doubles. still they worked fine. then next time i played on her mats, I tried to play doubles right off the bat. Literally i turned the ps2 on (pads were already plugged in) put in the disc, and put in on doubles. for some reason the pad in the second controller port registered my steps on the left side. has anyone else had a similar experience? or are her pads or game messed up in some way?

maybe you have the 2P side plugged in on the 1p side?

Go to Game Options and make sure you have Doubles set to two controllers.

Select double play using player 1. If you select double play on Player 2, then it will make player 2 registered as player 1 steps.

I did the same mistake in ddr when I pick Player 2 on double play.
