I have nothing against DTX at all. I like everything their doing.

I just have a problem with this company trying to sabotage the other two new companies(Roxor and DTX) just to make their product come up and above everyone else.

I didn't mean to say PIU doesn't HAVE a following, it's just not as big as the DDR following.

I'm saying I support them more because at first it seemed like they might've not taken the correct precautions to prevent this from happening. It turns out that it isn't their fault at all, but that of another company who is supposed to be in it with them together.

Well I'll say this...
ITG and PIU have a unique music style that fits each game... Konami has just been aiming for what they can get to get more sales in the USA recently... and Neon FM seems like "Lets just put whatever we can afford on here without reducing the songlist too much" Which leads me to believe what they are trying to do is get people interested in... the pad... biggrin.gif

Well um not quite original... I've already imagined playing IIDX on a dance pad in that layout... (and my legs falling off afterwards)

But my question is with ITG clearly flying off the ground and PIU getting better and better at arcades... what will DTX and NFM offer the player besides stepping on the panels? There has to be some gimmick to seperate them...

Examples :
Pump it Up Extra - hold steps
DDR MAX 2 - ONI mode
Pump it Up Rebirth - Division mode
In the Groove - new modifiers (they do add a lot of fun)
Pump it Up Exceed 2s Hybrid Battle mode

so far from what I've seen of NFM there are just songs and steps... like any other dance game

Neon FM has nothing notable, nothing to make it stand out. It's just another "mediocre" dancing game trying to cash in on the dancegame frenzy and will probably flop even before it gets big.

Sadly, I'm forced to agree.

I'm still interested in giving it a shot, because it's definetly something different to try and pick up on, and that doesn't happen too often nowadays.
No complains about the music, either. Hard to go wrong with Freezepop.
Backgrounds should be interesting, too(always a bonus).
I don't know what's going on with the little conflicts between the two, but
I'd rather just play both and judge off the game itself rather than decide beforehand.
