I used to think that you got penalized for leaving your feet on the arrows when an arrow wasn't hitting the thingy. I MAKE NO SENSE. biggrin.gif

Didn't everyone think that at some point, following that Beginner tutorial in the console versions?

I thought I was good when I c'd Cartoon Heroes and A'd Sakura on Heavy. I also assumed I would never AAA anything.

When I started playing ITG, I assumed I would never pass Euphoria Ex. on controller, let alone pad ;>.

So much for assumptions.

I started before Beginner mode versions, and I was of the same mindset.

Same here. Although it takes awhile to stop doing it. My brother once had to threaten my other brother to stop goiing to the center: "Everytime your foot goes back to the center I will hit you ten times."

Also, before I got good at PA, I used to believe that to get a AA you couldn't miss a single step, regardless of the song.

That's how it was in 5th Mix, and a couple of the US Home Versions, and the first version of SuperNOVA for the arcade, until the patch.

I used to believe that the ONI course Trick was impossible. I also used to believe that Anthony/Sketch wasn't human, but part God.

FXY!

It was only like that on the beta version and people didn't like it, so they changed it for the official release.

I used to think it mattered how other people played.

Now I know how stupid the arguments about playing styles can get.

Quoted for the truth. Everyone plays different and nothing will change that. Some people just cannot get over that fact.

I used to think sAmi was completely different from Yuuichi Asami. Then, listening to the lyrics of Love This Feelin', I heard "2,1,2,3,4" and deciced to see if arranging the letters in "sAmi" in that order actually did something. And I got "Asami". I could have just looked it up and spared myself 10 minutes. E9.gif

Yeah, I thought sAmi and Caramel S. were licensed artists until I looked them up.

Yeah, this bump wasn't that big of a deal, I've seen worse, as in 2-3 years worse. xD

As for the topic, I actually thought that the stepcharts follow actual dance moves instead of jogging/running in place for a minute-and-a-half.

Here you goes.

    * If you finished a song with a full bar, you'd get an A

    * MAX 300 was the hardest song, and it would never get AAA'd

    * You had to stomp on all arcade pads to make them work

    * Healing-D-Vision would be another remix of Healing Vision

    * SuperNOVA wouldn't be disappointing

    * Extreme US was good

    * DDR music was unobtainable

    * Full comboing a song is the only way to AA it

    * ITG didn't have 11, 12, or 13 footers

    * Pump it Up was terrible
