What is your favorite Arcade mix?

DDR 3rd Mix Korean V.2

I'm too lazy to browse through this topic and see if anyone else said the same thing. Haha. It holds a special place in my heart since it was the first one I ever played on...plus I miss Gimme Gimme, Caution, and Starian. Well...I miss all of the Korean songs.

I like Extreme a lot, but I have a problem with the interface. It is green. I personally find it ugly. Max 2's interface looks nicer.

These are my favorites, in order:

1. 5th Mix
2. Max 2
3. SuperNOVA
4. Extreme
5. MAX/6th Mix

To crunchwrap:
I like SuperNOVA better than Extreme too, but I do miss some songs from Extreme (such as Waka Laka, So Deep, Freckles, I'm in the Mood for Dancing etc). I honestly don't care that SuperNOVA/SuperNOVA 2 have fancy shmancy interfaces, or more songs, I like the games for what they are, not for superficial qualities.

SuperNOVA.

The songs just sound alot better, Seduction Vocal Mix, Flowers, My Shining Star, Good crossovers (no.13, drivin) and alot of home version songs that people were wishing for

Extreme is second for me, since that's when i started playing (2003)

I only had 3 AAA's on extreme by the time SN came out, and now I have about 27, so I'm probably a bit biased too,

Only other mix i've played is max 2, although i've played all songs from 1st- 6th via stepmania.

In no particular order

My top three:

5th Mix, Supernova 1, Supernova 2

5th Mix because it was my most favorite PS1-based version of the game.
Supernova 1 because its Asian version rocks (ie. English text w/e-amuse)
Supernova 2 well because it has more content (even if Jap text is used)

For worst mix, I'd probably say Extreme IMHO. Didn't like the interface and the song quality (due to compression) actually sounded worse as they really compressed all those 200+ songs on a PS1-based hardware system.

So yeah, EX was the worst version of the game in my book. Heck, I'd take Max2 anyday or even any version of 3rd mix or 4th mix over EX.
