To get into playing DDR (aside from the arcade and friends' houses), I am buying a PS2, DDR Max 1 & 2, and a RedOctane Metal Pad. I won't get everything till after christmas but that's okay.

I'm getting DDR Extreme and a flip top cover.

And I have BeForU's album, it's pretty much new songs and some remixes (Break Down Live Band Version, True 2003 Album Version, Graduation Unplugged Version, etc.) I also have the True single (also has Dive To The Night), and all three of Sana's albums. (No Shining Polaris on any of them

. It's mostly Togo Project stuff.)

Best case scenario, Ignition (but not 2.0, stupid GameStop doesn't have it, so they just charge you the same price for an older pad. Oh well, it's still better than Naki's DPR2.)
Worst case scenario, Pelican's wireless pad and a sheet of plywood.
I pray that I get an Ignition because Naki's pads bust in 2 months and I can't think that Pelican's are a whole lot better, although I will be taping it to plywood, so that might make it last longer. Once I get a job, then I'll get a Cobalt Flux or RO metal. Oh, and I'm also getting a crapload of games for Christmas.

i really wish ddr was available for home use in New Zealand, cuz i have to travel all the way into town just to play it, and get embarassed because im new to it i really wonder if i could find a pad somewhere and use it on my computer with stepmania.... hmmm if i can im definitly gonna get a job and start workin my buttocks off

ive recieved a generic pad already three days early. its just a off the shelf pad. "super star dance pad" i think its called.

on the other hand, my girlfriend got a better deal, and xbox and ddr ultramix w/ pad. good thing she brings it over all the time or id be stuck with only konamix and the occational trip to the mall.
