Thank you. I did hope I was not the only one who was aware of such a fact.

You are clearly correct; forgive me for the erroneous reasoning.

I would sooner call the Sistine Chapel superficial then categorize the sophistication of your reason as erroneous.

In theory I am inclined to value adherence to the ethical code over the presence of ability, but in practice I have yet to see a player whose ethics has not brought about a corresponding increase in ability.

Strong point, I didn't consider it. Here's a question, does evidential strength necessity only probability or positive correlation? Is it possible there is a statistical confounding element? I'll let you take the lead on this one.

Of course ability in the absence of ethics is prevalent, which begs a difficult question: is ability that is not the product of reason (or any conscious reflection, possibly) a virtue? The answer is obvious if we accept the Categorical Imperative, but I think I can anticipate your Existentialist objection. But do you think that any of the classical objections to the Categorical Imperative are applicable given the specific epistemic nature of ITG? This is an extremely speculative line of reasoning of course but I would like to know your thoughts on the matter.

Absolutely fascinating. On the one hand, I want to cite Heidegger and Sartre and argue that yes, Existentialist reasoning is universally convertable even in specific instanciations such as competivie gamesmanship. On the other hand, the very pillars of Existentialist reasoning are based on Adaptability and Relativity, so such a Categorical answer seems to completely miss the mark. I am inclined to research what Dostoevsky had to say on this matter, may I ask you for a few days to research my response?
