I passed out after playing Max 300 (first time I passed it!) when I had the flu. |

Sure, I was tired, but like 5 minutes later I played some more. The only times I have ever passed out was from stretching and yawning at the same time. I drop to the floor and stay out for like 10 seconds. It's weird... |

Never passed out but I threw up once after doing CSFIN(speedy mix) once. I finished with a B, but afterwards I couldn't play for like an hour. Strange thing was I wasn't sick or ate anything I normally don't. Maybe it was just too much shaking down there. |

Sorry dude, but I can think of 5 9-footers off the top of my head that are harder than Can't Stop Fallin' In Love (Speed Mix). It's probably about 9th or 10th as far as difficulty goes for Catas. |
And How many 9-footers are there total? Ask yourself that and then see who's insulting others. What's Your best score on it, anyway? |

Dude, don't get too excited, heart attacks are a very large factor in the United States death rate.
Ok, I wasn't attacking him, as you are obviously doing to me, he merely stated that Can't Stop Fallin' In Love (Speed Mix) was the hardest 9-footer on Extreme, and I corrected him.
My best score on CSFILSM is on my DDRecall, you may check it if you like, but I don't see how it is relevant. |

When I first discovered CSFIL(Speed Mix) and decided to play it 4 times in a row. After failing all 4 of those times (I got the second cross over stream everytime.) I had the breathing pains of which ive NEVER felt before. It was so painful I had to lay down on the coach and chill there for a good 15 minutes. After that I couldnt even do B4U (Oni Remix) at all, a song I usually A with like 1 good and 5 greats. _________________

Word of advice, if you can efficiently do crossovers like in CSFILSM then the breathing problem shouldn't be a problem. Trust me, I had the same problem though not nearly as bad. Just practice and your stamina should increase enough so you can go doing that song without asking yourself for a death wish. Even though that song is kind of easy as you get more used to it. |

Figures. If you are going to call yourself "the great" then don't be lazy. If fact do what you want you'll stay on standard while everyone else is doing better than you and I bet you couldn't give a damn less about what others think. |

Just think, major... CRAMP when breathing in deeply (Which of course is natural after exerting yourself like that.) and it hurt like hell, and im talking like HELL hell....
I Finally passed it last night, and honestly, im keeping up with the streams much easier without slowing down. Still the 2nd crossover pattern is kinda hell for me |
*clap, clap* excellent work so far. Ouch,is it THAT bad. In that case don't overstrain yourself or you'll end up slowly killing your gameplay. Try A,V,or Frozen Ray after you get the hang of it. |

I am that him and he you are talking about. CSFIL:SM is definately the hardest (but still one of may favorites) on Extreme US. I am sure there are harder ones on extreme JP, if that's what you are thinking about. |

I've never passed out while playing DDR, but I've wanted to sometimes.
Actually, I have more issues when I play trumpet. I sometimes play some really high notes for extended periods of time (Double bB gives me issues, for some reason Double C doesn't bother me.) I'll black out for a few seconds, it happened a few times at performances, reeeeeeeally freaky.
But yeah, while playing DDR, I don't have the sort of resolve to keep playing when I start feeling dizzy, I just sort of slow down and stop...maybe this is why I haven't passed Max 300. Which from the the looks of this thread is the main reason people pass out.
Sloganizer alert!
"Max 300, knocking out noobs since 6th mix!" |
