I would say, just don't play. Believe it or not, my wife and I actually bought a house, because we could not stand the constant pounding from the 7-year-old kid in the apartment above ours. It kept us up at night and awoke us in the morning. I respect your efforts to actually do something about it, but I know in my case, communication started politely, then escalated into pounding on the ceiling and, eventually, a shouting match that was the last straw. We moved less than a month after that.
I guess my point is, it sucks living below people that pound on the floor more than it sucks not to play DDR at home. So play at the arcade - it's better anyway. |

You had every right to be upset.
But in this case, it's not "constant" pounding, and it's not early in the morning or late at night. Seems reasonable enough to me. |
