The thing that made my jump to my conclusion was that the same steps that were in the StepMania version were used as the official steps in UM2.

You're talking about the Dokurorider steps? If so, they're not the same as the UM2 steps... they feel the same in the beginning because he does a good job of following the music, but the middle section isn't as difficult as the UM2 steps.

And yes, it IS fanmade, even though it's mistakenly attributed to Taka. Don't believe everything you see in SM.

Moonlight Sonata is a good song.....I like it. Just sayin.....

I don't know what AIJ is, so can anyone look up for me who the artist of "M" really is. I honestly thought that DJ Taka made it, but I guess not. Anyway, I was also wondering if there are other songs (DDR or not) whose title begin with a letter. For example there is A, M, and V (for EXTREME) that I know of.
Do any of you guys know?

'E' is not a DDR song.

I'm sure if it was sold for profit, Konami would clamp down on it (I'm sure it's a matter of time before they clamp down on ITG).[/quote]

V and A? lol

I remember playing Dr. M in PIU a couple of times, would it have anything to do with the 'M' that's being disscussed in this thread?

Nope, it's a completely different song. M is Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata on piano sped up with a techno drum beat layered on top. PIU has a lot of classical remixes that actually sound good =]

Ok, I want to know the following:
Who made M? (most important)
Who made E?
and (besides A and V) are there other songs out there that have a one-letter name?
Everytime I ask these questions, someone else changes the subject. For almost 3 days this thread has been open and no one has provided me with an answer to these questions which I have asked since the first couple of posts.
Please, someone out there - HELP ME! frust.gif E1.gif

Nope, it's not sped up. The Performance tempo of the 3rd movement of Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata is approx. 180 bpm give or take a few.

1. Beethoven made Moonlight Sonata. Some random fan stuck a drumbeat on it and credited it to DJ Taka. It's not actually Taka.
2.I have never heard E, so I'm assuming it's another fanmade one.
3.G2? It's not a classical remix, but you asked for one-letter songs.

Flash Flash Revolution is where I heard it. Not about the exact origin though.

According to a dwi made by Toxic Robot, the artist for 'M' is "R.A.D.". I'm not sure what the truth is to that.
As for 'E', I've never heard of its existence.
I'm sure there's many other songs that are not in DDR. For instance DM Ashura's 'Z', which will be featured in the upcoming game DanceTrax but earlier versions have been distributed throughout the internet. Also in DanceTrax is a song called 'X'. ITG2 has a song titled '!' (pronounced "bang").

I believe that is a Banya song from the game Pump It Up.

Thanx for the info everyone!
Since I got so many question answered on this, I might as well give it another shot. Everyone knows that there's a song called "V (for EXTREME)", but I wss wondering if there was a song just called "V".

I think it's just called "V" on Beatmania IIDX, since I believe that's the origin of the song. The ~for EXTREME~ denotes that it is a version of the IIDX song specifically for DDR 8th mix.

For Extreme means the song was cut to DDR length. This is also true for Sync and Colors. All these songs were originally from IIDX, and a bit longer.
