-You have the songs stuck in your head for hours on end
-You make your own 8-counts to the songs
-You do research on the artists, and find other songs outside of DDR that they composed
-You desperately search Internet sites like Limewire to search for full song versions
-You know the step-counts, backwards and in your sleep
-You don't care how pooped you are until you play your favorite song--one...last....time.....
-You are playing it on the hand controller so you don't make any noise--at 3am
-You can do a 10-footer on the hand controller almost perfectly
-You totally ditch the character dancer after a while because they make you look amateurish
-You pick out songs on the radio that can totally pass for a DDR song
-When you hear an adapted DDR song at a school dance, you scream and pretend your playing
-When someone asks you what your favorite song is, you say a DDR song name and they go "Huh?"
-You want to live down the shore and work at an arcade just to show off to other people
-Your one of those junkies who watch amazing people play it down the shore or on sites like YouTube
-You were a beginner a month ago and now you can do 8-footers like nobody's business
-You choreograph your dancing during a song
-You have a DDR song on your MySpace/Facebook, or the original version of the song
-You consider yourself a pro after only two weeks of playing, although you still know you aren't that good
-You turn off the talking guy in the game because it sucks the fun out of messing up on the easiest steps
-You wanna throw the PS2 (or XBox) out the window when your data gets corrupted
-You scream when you fail your favorite song on a harder difficulty than used to
-You have a handclap sound going on in your head when you know the arrows should be tapped
-You sometimes wish there was no such things as 16th steps
-You think freeze arrows are cheap fill-ins
-You've experienced at least two PARANOiA or MaxX songs
-The backgrounds no longer bother you and have you suffering seizures
-You have gotten at least 3 or 4 friends into playing DDR
-You have worn out your first dance mat already
-You don't care how much money you would pay for a metal mat, just so that it reads EVERY step made
-A username you use on a message board or e-mail is "DDrneRD" or something to that extent
-You laugh at people who use two people for doubles mode
-You think Mario Mix is the easiest DDR game to come out ever
-You think Bowser is the best flipping (no pun intended) dancer in the "Bowser's Castle" video in Mario Mix
-You go over a friend's house and play DDR until your legs fall off, watch a video or something, then play again, then leave at midnight
-You remember the days when you could only do one song, and now you can do more than that and ditch the song that you used to do countless times
-Your parents think your weird, not like they already do!
-You freak out siblings and other family members because you're not bad at it

You know you're a DDR freak when you write a six paragraph essay to your parents pleading for them to buy a Cobalt Flux for Christmas.

you're married?

It would just be "madam" if you are using the English variant. Madame is the French use and is used for women who are married.

If you aren't married, and (just taking a shot in the dark here) aren't of marrying age, you are called "mademoiselle"

...you try to defend the franchise from IIDX/pop'n music fanboys, who bitch, whine, moan, and groan the follwing:

"OMG! DDR STOLE AWAY TATSH!"
"OMG! DDR STOLE AWAY HYPER J-POP! TЁЯRA!"
"OMG! DDR STOLE AWAY YOKO FROM GURREN LAGANN! INUYASHA! SKY GIRLS!"

with:

"DDR has been understaffed for nine years. And look who's hogging the roster."
"As for Flowers' debut on DDR and not on pop'n music or IIDX, it's just a homecoming for NAOKI & jun, who both started their AC Bemani careers on DDR."
"But DDR lost BeForU for good. Those are just one-mix compensations." disturb.gif

...respectively.

Here's the ones I'm guilty of:

-You have the songs stuck in your head for hours on end
-You do research on the artists, and find other songs outside of DDR that they composed
-You know the step-counts, backwards and in your sleep
-You don't care how pooped you are until you play your favorite song--one...last....time.....

-You scream when you fail your favorite song on a harder difficulty than used to

-You don't care how much money you would pay for a metal mat, just so that it reads EVERY step made
-You remember the days when you could only do one song, and now you can do more than that and ditch the song that you used to do countless times

Also, you know you're a DDR freak when you know, and can sing, every word to every song you've ever played... even the ones you despise.

guiltyness

-You've played DDR for more than 6 hours on end.

-You start going hysterical whenever someone says the word "DDR"

-Half the songs on your MP3 player are DDR songs

-You play the tutorial just for the nostalgia

-As animaniacZero said "You have researched other artists and you went on limewire to get the full version of the song"

-You hate all other music games because you think DDR is God
