Is there a way I can play stepmania on my TV through a PS2?!

The only console that Stepmania can be played on is an Xbox.

i think he means useing the ps2 as a conduit from a pc, or something, to display stepmania on his tv.

if this is right, then i think a big fat NO is in order.

thats crazy, a neat idea, but still CRAZY.

why, refreash rates are different, you'll fry something in a attempt.

if it's something else, ignore the above rambleings then.

Not through a PS2, but if your computer has an S-video out port, you can do it easily. This is how I've been playing; I can plug my PowerBook directly into my TV and it treats it just like a regular secondary display. Turn on mirroring, turn the brightness on the PowerBook's internal display all the way down, and voilá, StepMania on the TV.

If you want to play it through your PS2 because you want to use the controller/dance mat, there are a few PS2-USB (Not PS/2-USB E13.gif ) adaptors about. You may need to find drivers on the internet to get a dance mat to work though. The above post explains how to display it on a TV.
