i actually took a broken gamestop dance pad, ripped off the control box, ripped off that edging thingy, and threw it over me and called it a costume last year for halloween. |

Actually that is quite possible. Blind individuals are capable of down-hill sking via the assistance of another sighted skier who has a whistle which they use to tell the blind person when to switch directions.
With DDR, the pad is pretty basic, and it wouldn't be to hard to add an individual tone that indicates which arrow (or arrows) are coming on to the screen. Timing would be the hard part, but look at how many people dance to the beat as it is, so they can focus on arrows that are coming up next.
Anyway, I'd like to see Konami move forward with the Workout concept and make a few DDR games for us oldies (30yrs and up) who need to lose weight or stay fit. DDR, in my opinion, is a hell of a lot more fun than walking on a freakin treadmill, and treadmills don't help your coordination much. |
