So I've had these pads for about a year and a half now. I take them home from my friend's house and test them on my computer with the driver for the SmartJoy Dual Plus adaptor to find that the LEFT ARROW sensor is completely non-responsive aside from one LED lighting up. I popped off the arrow cover to find this:
Ouch. A couple of scratches. Should that affect the sensitivity at all? I'd just like to know what I can do to fix this problem. There was a point at which the arrow worked for a few seconds and then dropped out again.

Definetly not the adaptor. I play all my games on it and it works fine. I'm certain this is a problem with my dance pad.
I tried switching up the control boxes and the LEFT SENSOR worked for a few steps, and then just dropped out again. _________________

Then its the control box, causing some malfucntion when you use it in the converter. or it can be that you are not switching the adapter into dance pad mode with the start+select+up combo |
