|
|
I have a broken red octane afterburner pad. The left and down arrow have stopped working. I know these pads break down after about a year which is around how long i've had my pad. Anyway to fix it or narrow down the causes of it breaking down? Can I or should I replace the sensors? Or is it most likely a short circuit? Anyone? |

there is probably a thread for this, and i know for a fact many people this same question..
the answer is still the same..
open it up
check the wires
if they are broken, thats the problem.
if they look fine, it may be dificult to fix, but not impossible
anyway, ill wait for discoman to close this thread.. _________________

"75% of electronic malfunctions are because of wire disconnections". dunno if its true but ive heard it somewhere. but its probly because of wires since sensors arent too likely to break unless redoctane is really crappy |

I'd take it to the AB thread or even the home-built threads.
But yes, if you have a way of checking current between the wires and the control box, I'd try that. Or, just check your wiring. |
