I still play Dance Dance. In fact, I'm far more into it now than before, as the arcade I frequent now has SN, and I've quit ITG. And the fact that there was actually a DDR EXTREME tournament at my arcade yesterday (which happened to be incredibly incredible) only complements my interest.

I play DDR and ITG. For DDR, home versions and arcade. For ITG, home version.

With 5-panel's popularity booming, people doubt if there's still hope for 4-panel. 4-panel should still be around for at least a few more years.

I dunno, I never did like 5-panel as much. The 4-panel setup always felt to me like a more fun and sensible way to move your feet.

Speculation is still only speculation, though I will not argue with the increased popularity in PumP/-panel games in general I wouldn't doom 4-panel.

If only Konami would bring back Step Battle Mode from 2nd Mix, and Solo and 3-Panel modes from Solo 2000... that would definately give DDR a much needed fresh feel (despite the age E10.gif)

I still play DDR and In the Groove - arcade - and when sick of sh*tty machines, my hacked console versions (ITG song hack, DDR misc. modifier and arcade timing hacks.) as well as MAME'd mixes that work. E4.gif

But Battle Mode is is SN. As for 6-panel, that (along with 3-panel) bombed and the Solo series was discontinued. Couple would be nice, though.

Not BATTLE MODE as Pump, ITG, or DDR SuperNova with the mods and stuff, but the STEP battle mode where the song would, instead of the arrows, have blocks of four and you had to make combinations of arrows for P2 to follow... LET THEM MOVE, 20, November, and Keep On Movin' had this mode in 2nd Mix.
