DDR for the Wii..yeah they would probably put a Mario twist on it again. But a good music game to port to the Wii would be Elite Beat Agents IMO. Instead of using the stylus, you use the Wii controller. Kinda like how they ported Trauma Center to the Wii. |

Well out of the franchise and business perspective Konami is threating not to make anymore exclusive games for Sony due to the PS3.. So I wouldn't be susprised if they made it for nintendo or for the xbox.. _________________

What is up with Nintendo and adding a Mario spin to everything?
There must be at least 40 games Mario was in, and he's rarely snooping around Bowser's castle to save Princess Peach anymore. More often than not, he's playing some sport and making it fruitalicious (so delicious) with magical mushrooms that improve his golf swing, go-cart, or tennis serves.
Mario DDR is just sad, and yet if DDR came out for the Wii, it would probably be an updated Mario DDR. Nintendo Mario's up everything that it deems kiddish....... _________________

To all the people who said no to Wii DDR, I have but just one thing to say.....can I join you all? lol! Seriously I defintely dislke the fact that if they do do that WITH ANOTHER MARIO THEME, it would be total CHAOS in the DDR World! And also, WHERE WOULD THE DDR PAD COME IN ON ALL THIS Wii NONESENSE!? THEY WOULDN'T GO FOR IT! In my opinion, KONAMI WOULD BE SENDING THEMSELVES TO AN EARLY GRAVE IF THEY DID THAT!
There, I'm done! No more! (Walks off of this convo!) _________________

I wouldn't mind Wii DDR combining some "normal" DDR songs with some stuff in the Donkey Konga 1 songlist. Spin the Disc and Sing Sing Sing? 5.1.1. and the Mario theme song? Healing Vision (Angelic Mix) alongside the Pokémon theme song? Hey, I'd buy it. _________________

No. No more DDR editions of another video game franchise. _________________

*Pokes head and returns*
Yes no more! Trust me it's be like a Siberean version of Zelda, which would definitely suck! (No offence to those Siberian, cuz I like Stratovarius and they are from Siberia and I would never diss them and their homeland!)
*leaves again in disgust and worry about Siberian Snipers* (Hey it works, alright!?) _________________

It taught me that Bowser has the best moves of any character to appear in DDR. Ever.
Honestly, I liked Mario Mix's songlist, but I thought the steps for all of the songs were way too easy. Even Super Hard difficulty was a major disappointment. _________________

i'd prefer a SuperNova release on the wii, given that there will be a market for gamecube/wii dance pads. |

I'd also like to add that if the Foonmixes were released on console, it'd be GREAT. |

I don't see what all the fuss was aboutwith DDR with Mario. What did you expect, Legend of Mario 500bpm death mix? It's a cute game aimed at children, and 'Super Hard' difficulty would be just that for a 7 year old.
If you want to play arcade-accurate (in terms of looks and gameplay) you will need a PS2. This is because there are more PS2 owners than of any other console in the world at the moment. You can get Sat-Nav kits for cars, but not so many places have them for motorbikes, because more people have cars.
People need to start looking at other games than DDR. Instead of saying 'Hey Konami should force DDR onto the Wii, even though it'd mean an expensive (to produce and to buy) wireless dance pad' you should be looking at what would work with what the Wii already has and has proved to work well, like Elite Beat Agents, or Parappa-style games. DDR isn't the only music game. _________________

I'm sure if it was sold for profit, Konami would clamp down on it (I'm sure it's a matter of time before they clamp down on ITG).[/quote]

DDR for the Wii would not be a bad thing but it needs to be a normal mix and on a pad. NO MARIO, ZELDA, OR ANYTHING OF THE SORT! and idc if this is opinionated and bias |

That would be pretty pointless then since it wouldn't utilize any of the features of the Wii at all. Might as well have it on the PS3 then. _________________

Oh wow, guys.

Judging from the video, it already looks bad. They kept Mario Mix's star-filled life bar, the BG dancers do a nice little retard arm-suspension before the song starts, and they do the same "step here-step-there" motion throughout the song.
And think about it: Because it uses the movement properties of the controller, guess who the only person who can play Faxx and Felm is?
That's right.

They'll make plenty of changes before the official release.
