My Rival's name is Gary. I picked charmander and he had to be a meanie and pick squirtle. frown.gif

oh yeah and anyone who likes anime... except they aren't exactly my rivals because the only thing they can use against me is their annoyingness and volume 5.5 of BOBOBO^_____^FLCL

yep, that pretty much sums it up for me too.

agreed. although if they're a LOT better or worse than me, then maybe not. i would try to learn from them in the former, and give a bit of advice to the latter. E4.gif

Me and my friend Travis started playing at the same time. I bought it, told him to come over and play it, then we both got addicted to it. For a while, I was better than him by a lot. Now, however, he has caught up and can do every song I can, though I'm still a bit better E13.gif . It would be cool if he was as good as me though because then it would be a challenge on 2P.

I'm going through rivals fast with my quick improvements, but I usually find someone a bit better than me and try to out-do them until I suceed, then I just go on to the next person. laugh.gif

Well for me, in all truthfulness, my rival...in secret has to be this guy named Blair (always has his high score nickname BLA). I guess some of you know about him. Kick-buttocks DDR AND ITG player. I always admire his game play and he was an inspiration to me, to try harder every single day. But I guess, that inspiration turned to jealousy and then sprouted a secret rivalry against him. That's why I try every single day of my life to improve in any and all songs that he has done and become better at it. That's one of my life long goals that I will try to accomplish.

Rob.
We started together. First time experience with DDR for the both of us was in an arcade a year and a half ago. We were both instant addicts. We went around for like three weeks playing at every arcade we could find, working our way up through standard at about the same pace.
He then bought Konamix and got much better than me. We played together at his house every day for months.
I then bought a bunch for PS2 and got much better than him.
I'm still better, but not by much and he's still great to play with.

I'm also kinda training a young'un. His name's Andrew, a younger brother of one of my best friends. He's like ten, and he's awesome. He's better than most people my age by now. Not as good as me though E15.gif

Rivals are fun!
