Hmm ok this one definitely hits me close to home. I'm a manager at a McDonald's here in michigan and we have the whole playland and sports themed McD's but no DDR machine, I ought to try and get them to bring one in.

On another note the chuck e cheese hear right down the street from me has a pump it up exceed 2 that I just saw the other day when I took my gf's little sisters there. It's not a bad machine at all and its right near the front door. The only annoying thing is the kids who just jump around on it without putting any credits in. That and they keep trying to step on it when your playing and your trying not to smush somebody's kid cause their parents don't watch them.

I remember when I was a kid Chuck E Cheese was just another arcade, but they still had the show with him and his pals or whatever, but it wasn't 100% geared toward little kids like it is now.

Why you want DDR in Mcdonalds?

Play then eat? Hehe.

Chuck E. Cheeses I understand, but a fast food with DDR?

I can walk up to Mcdonalds and play ddr hehe.

My point is that alot of teenagers will just go up to the machine and play it nonstop without buying any food.

Unless you are trying to make extra cash.

exactly...if the mcdonalds DDR setup worked fine, i would go there. kinda like how i go to a movie theater weekly to play DDR yet ive never seen a movie there(theres another theater closer i go to for movies). Actually, i'd go there ONLY if they have an xbox and ultramix 2 or a PS2 with either DDR max US or any JP mix besides Max 1(for once konami gave americans a better mix!)

at my mcdonalds, i have never seen a kid go on a dance pad. Only beat the crap out of each other over who one in mario kart. Yeah recently they redisigned are playzone so we dont have the tubes and we have gamecubes and DDR. i always thought kids liked the tubes.... i liked the tubes.

in other stupid noncense kids-related things, my local grocery store just got these cute shopping carts that are like little cars and little kids can go in them and they have friggin TVs in them! How intence is that?

That doesn't sound so bad, but wouldn't aren't Mold E Cheese's built for little kids? You'd probably get thrown out for accidently stepping on little kids who are stupid enough to go and put thier hands on the panels.

Unless they were playing, and they were putting their hands on the panels because they were doing songs with hands. laugh.gif

Pump has hands, right?

you make it sound like kids will understand the concept of PIU. this is what theyll do. Choose a song, instantely fail, and leave. Unless u have a bastard child who will beat the poopy out of the machine when he fails....that could happen. God after going to chuck e cheeses a few days ago, i understand why my parents hated taking me there when i was 6. Except virtua fighter was the poopy.

yeah, everyone liked the tubes! There more easily accessibke than a DDR pad that doesnt work...and if there crap and barf on them they'll still works which means mcdonalds can be more lazy. Hoorah!

Its really sad they got rid of the tubes. I mean if they replaced the tubes with a well-maintained DDR machine on free play i wouldn't be complaining but replacing them with some gamecubes and some thing that remotely looks like DDR, thats drawing the line. Also, i felt one of the panels and my hand was covered in this black crap...thats probably not a good thing, is it?

o and mcdonalds didnt make america fat, america made america fat. It's because we're lazy, eat too much, and just don't care(the typical american member of the typical fat family). I'd say cars also have a big part to do. I mean, you've got people who get the mail in there car, drive across the street in the car, and think walking to get somewhere is like illegal. It's terrible...i dont have anything against cars, but i walk literally EVERYWHERE within 2 miles(im only 14 tho) and it really helps.

Americans made America Fat.

The tubes were awesome. Why would they take the tubes out? Every McDonalds has tubes.

I think it would be torture for a McDonalds to have DDR.

They thrive off of fat people, and playing ddr makes you not-fat. And when they are not-fat they'll probaly realise McDonalds is a fat fest and sue for excessive intestinal surgery and gastric by-pass.

idk....i used to eat a lotta mcdonalds and im not fat(6"1' and 150 pounds aint big)...but yeah. The tubes thing. i think we should all have a "lets all meet at a mcdonalds and go in the tubes" fest 2006. We can call it....tubestock 06.

actually, after looking at the food facts on the little subway wrappers, i saw most of the stuff at burger king is fatter than its mcdonalds counterparts. And typical burger kings are just a restaurant..no fun zones.... So while we doggy about mcdonalds its really that jackass king who just might be a pedaphile.
