Euphoria V. Pandemonium

I finally beat euphoria tonight. yay 72. I'm still no where near beating pandemonium expert...well maybe near but i'd still say it's harder.

Can't pass Pandemonium Expert yet either. I'm pretty sure when I do, though, the score is gonna be a hell of a lot higher than my first Euphoria pass: 58.34%.

Pandemonium is much harder in my opinion. Euphoria was my first 12. I passed it before Vertex...I passed Euphoria for the first time atleast 3 or 4 months ago. I still havnt passed Pandemonium. Stupid 8th note runs at 330 bpm.

I still don't get how Euph goes. The steps just look like clutter to me. I've beaten all the 11's and about half the 12s with scores in the low to middle 80s. It seems that according to people in here, I should be able to beat it. So why can't I do it?

Actually, I haven't tried it on foot, but I can barely get an 80 on stepmania, and usually come close to failing towards the middle.

I passed VerTex b4 i WILL be able to pass Euphoria
Pandy hard is another story....

FUnny story, i my first pass on VerTex was a fluke rly. I nvr rly meant to pass, i just tried it as my last song for the day, cuz i was already tired, and i actually ended up passing it

Pandemonium: 48.84% on feet. Cleared, but barely on home.
Euphoria: Easy 80.00%+ on feet, home.

The problem: Pandemonium is too long for my endurance, and is my PSMO of ITG. Cleared once on feet. Euphoria is closer to PS, and Vertex is my PSM. I'm not sure on Vertex2, b/c I haven't done ITG2 yet, but it can't be that hard, being able to about 85.00% Vertex.

If you're playing clean (no speed mods), then Euphoria is way harder to learn and pass for the first time. If you're using mods liberally, Pandamonium is much more difficult. It's just like Bag from DDR. It's only a 10 because of the arrow mass. Take that away and it's much easier.

Of course, since it seems that 98% of ITG players can't play without speed mods, I suppose the point is moot.

I don't think it's so much as that they can't play without speed multipliers; it's more that their scores suffer with lower speeds, so they usually don't bother. At least, that's the case for me...
