ok, first of all. there are lots people who had a bad experience with mymybox dance pads. However, I might be the one lucky person who is able to use thier dance pads for over one year! I have bought their dance pads (one soft pad and a metal pad) on ebay (of course, very cheap riiight.gif ) I have been playing ddr on mymybox metal pad and it is still working little over a year. maybe I am the only lucky one who can still playing on thier metal pad. many people said, thier metal pads are broke/ not working after using for one or a few days later.

I also had a problem with the cable after using it for 9 or 10 months so I contacted them to get a replacement cable. Their reponse time was quick and fast. I was very happy with their service. (I am not sure about thier response time right now). blink.gif

After that, a few of my friends also bought mymybox metal pads off ebay and those pads are still working too. as far as I know, mymybox service is good.

OK, It is not as convenient as going to fry's store or gamestop store to buy a dance pad, but me and my friends are still happy with thier product and service. If you had a bad experience with vorts ignition pad like me, you would not buy Vortz ignition pad. Thier price is one of the cheapest, but the quality is not good. No replacement for defectvice product. Late reponse time, too. If you are buying the pads off ebay with very low price, be careful because what you get is what you paid it for.

Buying the Cheapest ddr dance pad off ebay is not the best way to go. I would recommed people to go and buy with middle price range .

If you buy a dance pad from mymybox directly, it might be expensive. If you are patient, you can always to get a deal on ebay.

I hope I answer to your question and give other people how and what to buy. I know that there are differences on the quality of ddr dance pad among ddr sellers and manufacture.

one of my friends has RO ignition pad and another friend has vortz / cypher ignition pad and I have MMB premium Pad. When we compare those three pads, we found out that there are many difference things on the dance pad quality such as inner foam thickness and density (presure), raised button foam, Non slip bottom foam, thickness of dance pad, etc.

This is the reason I am saying that what you get is what you pay for.

I'm currently out the door for work, but catch me on AIM (TSDennisG) and I'll explain. It involves a piece of pegboard under the pad and 9 pieces of acrylic or plexiglass on top of the arrows...and black duct tape...details free if you catch me online E13.gif
