Sanitary?

The bar is a lot more sanitary then things you come into contact with on a regular basis. Money is probably the most nasty thing you'll ever touch but that probably wouldn't make you avoid it.

if ppl r oc about sanitation than they should just bring stuff like hand sanitizer or wear gloves or something. I pring anti-bac stuff 4 my hands and a towel from all the sweatyness i get

I think its awesome, I DONT use the bar and never will. I can pass max 300 without the bar no problem. The bar is not necessary and anyone who does use it should die of the disease in which it carries!!!

This was my first thought when I saw ITG for the first time.

I mean c'mon. Touch the panels where hundreds of people have stomped their feet on? The same shoes that easily could have recently walked in dog poo, dried vomit, chewed gum, squished bugs, etc. I'll pass on the hand-plants, thanks.

Very seriously though; we live in a world filled with germs and only maybe 1% of them can really harm us badly. There's germs in the air and on every single surface (especially your keyboard!) and yet how often do you even get sick in a year? The dinnerware you're using tonight is not 100% clean -- will it kill you? That's why we have immune systems.

We're not Resident Evil here -- yet.
