We don't hate people who talk about Yasu. We hate people who RABIDLY insist that Yasu is and forever will be "THE GRATEST DANCEY GAMER FOREVUR AND EVUR".

Edit: Okay, so that was hyperbole. So what? I like hyperbole.

It's just amusing that Yasu gets a chance to play ITG. Like others have said, he was probably the greatest DDR player back in the day. So what if there are others who are better now? So what if he probably can't come close to some high scores on groovestats? The point is it's amusing to see Yasu get a chance to play ITG, and see what kind of scores he can get on harder songs. Do you guys only care when someone gets the highest score on a hard song and disregard everything else? Fine, maybe you don't care because the only thing that matters to you are triple stars. There are other people who do care and want to talk about this. Go post somewhere else instead of trying to make people in here feel bad.

On topic: Would he have a bar to play with?

I'm pretty sure that Yasu's ability is nothing compared to the good american players now....like MMX,LILQ and Bluemystic... they are all 1000x better then him now... he was good back in the day... they could easily do what he did now.... and more....and no one will ever 100% pandemonium expert... its not possible due to human error

>_> People used to say Max 300 would never be AAA'd, or anything like that. Given a few years of the same old extreme, we saw that some eventually pushed on to new levels. Max 300 has been marv attacked now with like 36 perfects.

And in all of those steps its very likely anyone will make an error and get even an excellent, true, but people like MMX and Q are always expanding the time it takes on average before they mess up that one step. Eventually the margin should be large enough so that at the very least, such people could pull it off. People who underestimate the human mind and body are proved wrong quite a bit. =X

Believe it or not guys, but if you are at the level of AAA songs on command (and yes Yazu did that.) and take a 2-3 year break because of boredom, dont you think its quite possible to gain your skill you had back? and much quicker than before?

Yazu has enough talent to catch up to the good players we have now given some time, yea stamina needs to be built back up and technique needs to be built back up but once you have something down, you dont lose it entirely, and it can be called back when you really want to.

Saying hes out for the count is a joke, im not a fanboy, but jesus its like having anyone give the american players a run for their money would be horrible -.- Im selling clues now.

On the note of of never 100% pandy expert, spare me. People have said this time and time again, oh Max 300 will never be passed (it was.), oh Max 300 will never be AA'd (it was), well then never AAA'd (it was...), and the same went for PSMO, and the same went for **** ANY expert on ITG (that happened to.) People who underestimate what humans are capable usually get burned, so I suggest you do not do it. Im sure there will be a point in time when someone WILL full combo determinator expert, feet do actually move that fast and all you need after that is pattern memorization. So yea.. yea yea yea...

Determinator has been full-combo'd, Summer has been FEC'd, Pandemonium has been... **'d? At least *d, I'm not sure. I think somebody FC'd Euphoria, too, but I'm not so sure...

...the game is hard, but the players are good...

Also, I believe Aaron mentioned that Yasu got all marvelous on DXY! in an oni course. If he can do that, he could probably get some quad stars easily.

I remember the day when you couldn't come to DDRFreak without seeing "OMG YASU!" somewhere for some reason. Good times.

I'm sure he'll do well, but he won't be the first to **** Pandy Ex just because there are others well on their way.
