No, you have to full combo it for the AA. If you get too many greats and FC it, you'll get an A with a star. But you can't get an unstarred AA.

huh, well then that doesn't make any sense, because i got one good on 'A' heavy, and it still gave me a AA? the only thing that it didn't have was the star next to it... also because i only got 7 greats...
