I'd say DDR MAX2 (US home version). It sucks.

Can't really live without 1st mix, obviously the worst mix out there...but that's where DDR started.

Other than that, I could live without 4th mix, and DDRMAX2 US.

4th mix...the song list wasn't very tasteful for me. The 4th Plus was a much-needed addition.

The only reason why I bought MAX2 US was because I was obsessed with Tsugaru at the arcade one day...and saw Tsugaru on the back of the game, later in the day. So that made me believe the rest would be just as obsessive.

I was dead wrong. After I unlocked everything, I went back to DDRMAX US.

For those who hate all the US mixes, whatabout Ultramix 2? I found an unbelievably high amount of songs that I enjoyed. Before any song packs, even.

Special mention for 6th Mix US that, while having many many songs (and a lot of them good), doesn't have a single song from Happy Paradise 2. wtf?

That's exactly why I hated Max US. It seemed like 1/3 - 1/2 of the Max JP songs came from Happy Paradise 2 and like you said, not one song got into the US version. It seems like the ones from Best Of Trance Fantasia are the songs getting into the US DDR games since Max US had Ordinary World and then Max 2 US got Ghosts.

It's still a good game, right? E1.gif I mean I like it AND I DUNT CARE BOUT WUT KINDA SONGS IT GOT! IT STEIL GOT MAX300! frust.gif

Stop talking. DDR for n00bs? Seriously. Do you listen to yourself talk? DDR EXTREME AC is more for n00bs than EXTREME US CS could ever hope to be.

i meant that it only has a few hard songs, and most of the heavy songs are 7 footers. easy 7 footers, too. at least the arcade version had 1) a good selection of 9 footers, 2) lots of classic songs, and 3) a good interface. sure, the US version has some good unlocks, but other than that it sucks.

DDR EXTREME AC also contains the most overplayed Dance Dance Revolution songs all together in one easy-to-access DDR game. Butterfly, Frozen Ray, Senorita, Telephone Operator (strangely enough), A, We Will Rock You, We Are The Champions, and all the other big overplayed newbie hits are easily there to be picked and failed by any newbie DDR player on Beginner. EXTREME USA CS wasn't as bad as everyone seems to say. Sure, it wasn't perfect by any means, but Konami brought us music and modes never-before-seen by DDR players. And are you irritated with the songs being too easy? Take your time in Edit Mode, and make something. I hated i feel ... for MAX2, so I made some cool edit steps for it, steps that many have told me are more than arcade-worthy. So there's more to EXTREME USA CS than most say. Blah blah blah. I'm done.

Extreme US is a n00ber mix. Sure, there are hard stages there, but that's mainly for it's learning curve, so n00bers still have stars to shoot for. Of course, mixing up tons of easy and hard 7's won't help them much (HIGHS OFF U [HVY]= 7? WTH?!) I wouldn't say to go without it though, that's there to build more of a fanbase, and introduce more people who should be more intimdated by Konamix/MAX. Plus, Mission Mode IS still fun; and at least it got delivered with some good fun stuff. They got quite a bit of mileage out of the extra modifiers, too. I could do without half of it's ONI mode though. ONI courses + LGT/STD levels don't mix.

I'd say I could go without Disney Mix. Only 20 stages, Maniacs in seperate mode (no Doubles, either)... not much to miss there. Dance Magic can be fun, but too few characters/songs, and no nonstop-course-style battles makes it too redundant. (Matter of fact, I DO go without it. How about that?)
