Have you ever actually paid attention to those lyrics? They are clearly about sex.
"Male and female what is there to do? That's right, the beastie rendez-vous."
"After the game of love baby, all I wanna do is be lazy...stay in bed like we don't care what's up outside."
"After the game of love baby, you know you're driving me crazy. Between the sheets, just you and me."
It's a great song though. |
Those lyrics aren't much worse than any of the garbage R&B you'd hear on your average "urban contemporary" radio station. |

well if i remember correctly it didnt actualy say blow my whistle
bitch
on max 2 it actualy said blow my whistle baby. ppl just knew the real word i guess |
The version in DDRMAX2 was the MTVified version. The actual song's lyrics are "blow my whistle bitch!"
Also, it's pretty obvious that this song is about oral sex, just like every other DJ Aligator song (Lollipop, for example.. just substitute "blow my whistle" with "suck on my lollipop", and substitute the whistle with a kazoo).
Anyway, happy to clear that up. To the past several posters, let's please keep this on topic. |

I've been thinking about the idea of objectionable lyrics a lot lately. Some of you might know that I'm trying to get some research done to see if DDR really helps people lose weight. But in thinking about doing the research with kids, I'm thinking there might be some objections to the lyrics of some of the songs.
Put yourself in the place of parents of kids of different age ranges. How obvious/disturbing do you think those objectionable lyrics are? And let's look at them by themselves, not in comparison to the other objectionable games kids may be playing. _________________

| I don't think it was mentioned, but the Six Flags this happened at was Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, NJ. In 2002, they had a 3rd Mix which also had the song Little doggy. In 2003, they got rid of 3rd Mix and got 4 new Extreme machines (they should have kept the 3rd Mix too!). Someone complained and got all 4 machines removed. A Pump It Up machine was brought in a few months later (which had even worse lyrics like a song that uses the N word). This year, Pump was removed and 3 new Megamix machines were added. |

In all honesty? Very tame. The songs with objectionable lyrics are all barely objectionable, and they're all few and far between. Well, as long as you're playing post 5th Mix.
And you can always look at the games rating. _________________
