I have a big problem at the beginning of CSFIL:SM. Where it has the

patterns. Whenever it does these I keep staring at the screen and like the moron I am hit the left with left and back and right with my right. This would all be fine and dandy, but if you think about it it looks like you're doing some sort of country dance and it's a waste of energy. Anyways, I'm asking how you're supposed to turn to hit these arrows properly and not looking like Garth Brookes doing it.

Aha, you've just stumbled across the *selected expletives censored* concept of crossing over.

What you need to do is hit

with your left foot,

with your right foot, and then

with your left foot.

What happens is that your body will end up facing right, away from the screen, but your head (unless you're trying to freestyle something) will probably still be facing the screen.

Exactly what the other people have said. However, the crossover will change so that your right foot is now hitting the up arrow and you left foot is hitting the left and right arrows. It's kinda tricky at first, but you'll get t.
