pretty sure those are just 16ths |
My understanding is that the gallops only fall on the 1/64 beat. The two steps of the gallops are still 1/16 beat a part, thus it looks just like a gallop - it's just situated into the steps oddly, something to which anyone seriously trying to PA the song can most definitely attest. _________________

Bag has many 24th notes and a few 32nd notes. NO DDR SONG HAS 64th NOTES.
However ITG does have 64th notes. Euphoria on expert has many 64th notes, not just 2 or 3 in a row. 64th notes will alwyas be very rare as 70bpm 64th notes are still coming at you at 19 steps per second (and yes this part has been full comboed in the arcade with feet by Cynic and myself). |

In EGM, the reviewer said there was a song with 64th in ExUs. I have yet to find it.

(slightly off-topic)
You can do 64th notes if you can tap 32nd notes twice ( )
What i mean is, based on my single tap theory, you can do certain notes. For example, in Max 300, those triple tap notes at the end are half a 12th each (or, unofficaly, a 6th note). If you can get those steps perfectly, you can do 12th notes at 300BPM. Why, you ask? Because you are only using one leg instead of two for taps, therefore, you can move your OTHER leg in a motion like that too.
So, if you have SUPER FAST taping ability, then YES, you can do 64th notes. _________________

*Looks at a notechart for Sakura 7k on IIDX*
Hmm... 4 notes evenly spaced in a 1/16th of a beat at the dramatic slowdown from 44 bpm to 13 bpm... that would be 64th notes.
Now, if those were in DDR... it'd only be like 16ths at 176 bpm, which is do-able foot-speed-wise (you get 16ths at 190 bpm in the boss version of Maximizer). _________________

Now i've seen 64ths in dwi/sm at high speed because those songs aren't made to necessarily be possible...but if made in ANY ddr songs, they will probably be at slow speeds. Of course 64ths can be played on instruments, but playing it on an instrument really only simulates the difficulties in ddr when it's something you play with your feet(ie organ). However, I don't know much about the 12ths and 24ths in ddr...
As far as I know, bag only has as far as 32nds _________________

I could make an edit packed with 64th's that would be passable by a six year old and his mother. It's all about whether or not they are single, one every five seconds, or consistant, like a chain of ten 32nd's with a 64th in between each. There's a difference, it's not the 64th notes that are hard, it's what you do with them.
Also, I think Captain Jack has some gnarly notes in it, perhaps not 64th's, but those "pa-dam, pa-dam" are not 'regular' arrows. |
