Yes. Next question...

That's the intention of FS. You don't see a bartender doing flairs just because he/she is bored and doesn't care about being a showman. He/she is all about the $$$, attention, etc. Same with FS. People FS because they like attention, know that there are tourneys that reward such showmanship, et al... heck, if it wasn't for people in Cali FS'ing back in 2000 -- DDR wouldn't have half the notoriety it did. DDR fans should bow down to those who paved the path to make it famous and accessible everywhere instead of a handful of places. WORD. =P

Harhar... We talking KR1 or KR2? KR1 was boring. KR2 was epic. *heh*

whats wrong with fs, mates? ^^ Its interesting to watch. mabye im just saying that because the closest thing people come to freestyling in my arcade is turning around during sonds like angelic remix or frozen ray. other than light songs and things like knee drops.

additional comment- I think freestyle needs a kick of technicality. id like to see some radical stuff during some memorized routine on some heavy song, no?

No. It's already been done before anyways.

If you add technicality to freestyle, it's not freestyle anymore. You don't have the freedom to throw in a power move because you would be too worried about missing too many arrows, hence, it would look sloppy. I'm not saying it's not possible to look good while FSing to a song on heavy because I've seen it done to Do It Right (Harmonized 2step Mix), which is only a 7 foot rating on heavy, but to a song like Waka Laka? I don't think so.
