then why are you still arguing about it?

That's what I was replying to, seems to me, like you were saying that I said that, you said that konami was keeping out songs in order to keep people out

...lol, are you supposed to be mad or sumthin? is that why you keep repeating? we're both right, yet you keep the argument going saying, the same thing over, and over again, it's really kinda pointless, how old are you, 14?

I read your first post wrong because you failed to point out who they are...I thought you were referreing to konami, and not the Japanese consumers...

I'm done areguing with you, though it was fun...we should do this again sometime...
[/quote]

Yea I'm 14... blink.gif Was that supposed to be some kind of insult? If you gonna insult someone, at least be original about it.

Anyways, that was my bad I didn't specify who I was talking about when I refer to them as "they".

And for the record, I wasn't mad. I was just wondering why you kept repeating everything I said.

INUYASHA!!!

Now THIS is the perfect reason why anime songs should not EVER be in DDR (disregarding the ones already in of course).

Well in my opinon if you want anime music you are playing the wrong bemani music game. May I suggest you play pop n' music instead. Plenty of it there. Plus, there is specific release for us Otaku. It's called Pop n' Music Anime Melody.

Now, I would like to say that Anime music most certainly belongs in bemani games period. But I think alot of anime music is too complex for DDR. That's why I'm glad that there is pop n' music.

Now just take my advice and your wishes will be granted.

You've got to be kidding me?? peoples.gif peoples.gif

I'm probably sure you are just mocking me!!!

Anyway, I'd like to add to my above post by saying that "anime music" is farily broad in its presentation. And for all those that don't know I'm pretty hardcore when it comes to classical music and that there are plenty of haunting and beautiful soundtracks that are written for various series and movies. Plus, I didn't know there was supposed to be a difference between "Anime music" and "Real music".

If you want to shining examples I'll pull out the Haibane Renmei and Ninja Resurection or the Makaitenshoh soundtrack.

This is kind of stuff that real Otaku know about and not your average kiddie/teen cartoon network watching wannabe is going know about. Hell, if any of the pieces from either soundtrack was in pop n'; I'd probably cream my pants. riiight.gif drool.gif

Pop'N Music is the greatest bemani game ever made. Thats all. Its 9 buttons, and it plays like beatmania IIDX. It starts of easier then IIDX, gets on Par with IIDX, and at times, is harder than IIDX.

IIDX will reclaim that title once IIDX Red is released. There's an 8+ song that people can't even break 20% on it. E15.gif

Dude, you obviously didn't read my post right, I never said that Konami left out anime songs to keep out otaku, you and Rara did. Konami doesn't care who plays, as long as they sell machines, and discs.

Excuse me, when did I ever say that Konami left out anime songs to keep otaku from playing? Oh, that's right, I never did. Don't try to put words in my mouth.

Sorry, but you and a handful of other DDRFreak members that don't live in Japan won't have much of an effect on Konami. I don't know if Reign or anyone else had pointed this out, but DDR is not as popular in Japan anymore. So, if you wanna play anime in DDR or some other Bemani game, take the other members' advice and search for anime mixes in DWI/SM, or get into Pop'N Music and get the Anime Mix.

Geez...you're going to pick out every little mistake in wording that I put in my posts? it's pretty f*ckin obvious what I meant (if you were following the conversation) what I meant was, you think they *shouldn't* put more anime songs in with "keeping certain song out to keep a certain group of people from playing" being the only reason why...

your reply doesn't even address my quote...are you disagreeing with what I said in my quote or what?

err...you're just the same as we are...you don't live in Japan, so, what gives you the authority to say that DDR isn't as popular in Japan as it is here? not that it matters...( my problem was with your reasoning on why there shouldn't be anime in there (in my opinion, it's nothing short of predjudice)

and as I've said before, I really don't care if there are anime songs in there or not, as long as, what *is* chosen, if any, are actually good songs....

and as I've said...this argument is ridiculous...and the subject kinda changed...so why bring it back up because of my leaving out a single word? if you want to get the last word, then go ahead *like I care...* (but then, you'd have to reply after this one E15.gif)

Just like to point out that it's been proven that DDR is not as popular in Japan as it used to be. Beatmania and Pop 'n' Music on the other hand...That's another topic.

No.

I also mentioned that Konami would have to pay more royalties to continue a line of games that they more than likely don't want to anymore, regardless of how 'well' it's doing in another country. Again, don't put words in my mouth.

PS, I understood your posts perfectly. But I suppose it's not the same for you. :)
