I think what he meant by DDR poser was someone who DOESN'T EVEN PLAY and thinks that they're better than everyone else. Now I'm sorry, but when you gloat and be as arrogant as to say that you'd take me on a game that you never even played and say that I suck, I'm taking offense. I'm not sure how many of us could keep their temper if they have some dude yelling and laughing in their face. I highly doubt any of us would still defend them when they see that.

....a "DDR poser"? What, you mean when a guy pretends to act like he plays DDR but doesn't?

That's what it should be, if you ask me, but instead, you just made another "ddr n00bs/scrubs make me mad lol" thread with reasons that totally don't explain a "DDR poser" at all. How lame.

8.) they only do max songs on beginner.

Ummm, sometimes for the hell of it I play some of the Maxes on beginner. I guess I'm a big poser since I play pretty much all the other difficulities as well.

I have to agree with dj 8-ball as well. There are some people that don't like the song selection on a machine and just like one or two songs....or just like the steps...so they play that same song over and over again (as annoying as it can be at times) but it's their money, they can do whatever they want. Who are any of us to tell someone what they can and can't do with their money??

If someone is being a "poser" why not look at someone who's going to say "Ooooo, I played DDR Superb X-Treme Max to the 3rd Power and it had the 7 min ver of Sandstorm and it was a 20 footer on an Oni course that had naked squirrels wearing tutu's doing the Cabbage Patch on a quarter of an inch piece of ice in 350 degree weather for the background video!! And I AAAA'd it backwards on S4R while breakdancing on the machine and I did 7 Matrix walks on the machine without it skipping a beat or missing a step! " .

To me that would be a liar/poser.

I've seen people proclaiming to be something they're not.....like people hopping up onto the machine while you're playing and pretending to know what they're doing, stomping on arrows at random without looking at the screen....being a "poser" by making fun or something they can't do but think it's "cool" to jump up and be an idiot to themeselves and others.

Rethink who or what a poser is.....not based on what or how they play...but what they do or say pretending to know something they know nothing about.

Not something stupid like...."he's a DDR poser because he smokes cigarettes!"

I can't beleive this. Now that I look at it. A poser, is somebody who pretends to do something. In this case you aren't talking about a poser you're talking about DDR players that are new to the game. I can't beleive I posted without thinking. Oh my goodness! I need to change what I wrote, in a previous lesson I've learned, who cares what they do, does it really matter? Don't poke fun. I feel bad that I did.

At least you realize what you've done. Anyways, I thought this thread was so funny kuz it was like this guy was bashing on newbies and didn't realize it. I was just too lazy to post about it, but looks like someone noticed it too.

You guys should take lessons from Bubblegum here. She's not your average 11-year old. E13.gif

12. They think DDR is real dancing.
13. They refer to DDR songs as mainly J-pop or techno.
14. They think only Asians are good at DDR.
15. They think the best players do backflips, Matrix walks, etc.
16. Their knowledge of songs is limited to older stuff (Butterfly, Boom Boom Dollar, etc.)

A lot.

And why do you people still keep thinking the original poster is talking about "DDR posers"?

Congratulations, you can count to three!

Anyway, do we really need another thread dedicated to n00b-bashing? There are so many other excellent places you could do that...
