You could avoid this by getting used to playing without speed modifiers. That way, you don't have to worry about changing your mods whenever playing a faster/slower song. |
I could but I like playing with the modifiers on. I like the faster a song goes up to a point of course. Also, it helps me read the arrows better and work on my speed with alot of the songs. Some songs that are already up there in the lower to mid and upper 200 bpms don't need them. I don't use the speed modifiers for those. If something should happen like with Sakura, I would laugh or joke about it so it's not all that big of a deal really.  It's all about the fun playing.

So i guess you must be cheating by playing any extra stage right? because it uses the 1.5x speed mod...  |
Grr... stupid Extra Stage. I can do fine on most stuff Extra Stage, but 200+ BPM is tough. I've AAed Sakura a few times on 1x, but when I try it on EX, I usually wind up with five or six "goods'n'below."  Stupid 480 BPM equivalent scroll speed! *shakes fist*

| well the first time i tried sakura i was like whoa!! i got a D though. it was hard. then i got used to it. i usually put the speed mod at 1.5x n i usually get a B. im stil not that good only been playin for 5 months on/off. must get better. |
