Karaoke Revolution 2 was unveiled at E3, with 35 new songs, new characters, and new venues. The song selection is very extensive, featuring songs by Britney Spears, Garth Brooks, Christina Aguilera, Jamiroquai, and others. There is also a new microphone by Logitech being released, instead of having to use the headset.

Although the first Karaoke Revolution had the option to use an append disk for new releases, the creaters of the game decided it would be better off released as a separate, stand alone game.

There is also an additional mode, called Medley Mode. It allows you to select several songs and sing portions of each.

There is also the ability to sing short versions of songs (which are the portions you would find in the Medley mode).

According to the Konami rep I was speaking with, KR2 will be offered both bundled and unbundled with the bundled version including the handheld microphone.

honestly, I cant wait for this, anybody else like singing to normal DDR songs while they're dancing?

I'm definitely investing in it when it comes out. Especially with that Logitech microphone. I didn't like the headset mic that came with KR1, and was one of the reasons I didn't get it; mainly because little mikes like that can't pick up every sound all the time. The Logitech did it all with flying colors.
