Yeah, I'm all for 10 foot classical pieces. So long as they aren't techno remixes or some crap like that. You guys sound as if cranking up the bpm is the only thing that defines a 10 ft song. A 10 should be technical not fast.
Anyway, If one was made just put it with the rest of the 10s but it shouldn't be anything special. If a new mix were made I want a mode with just 10s and above. To test my musical listening skills.

I love trip machine. Trip Machine Luv Mix is my favorite because of all the spins that I can actually do!
A 10 foot trip machine would be pure madness because of all the spinning they'd have to throw in. Its ridiculous to try and spin at almost any speed above 200. They could probably do it without any spins, but that wouldn't really be trip machine. _________________

Yes they definitely should. I'm guessing somewhere around 250-280 bpm. _________________

God, why does everyone seem to think a song has to be overly fast to be a 10 footer? Am I the only one who thinks a Trip Machine ten footer should be at a normal speed(160 BPM) and earn it's diffuculty instead of just being uber fast? I wouldn't mind a 160 BPM Trip ten footer that is a 10 footer because of wierd rhythms, jump chains, spins, and sixteenth notes instead of just being a ten footer because it's uber fast. And besides, Trip Machine is NOT good for high speeds, IMO. Trip Machine Climax is the line I think. Trip Machines are the "speed tech" songs. Not the uber-fast songs.
Trip Machine=Akward turns and rhythms 160-180 BPM
Paranoia=Fast streams, jumps, and double steps. 180-300 BPM
MAX series=Overly fast, really hard, tempo changes freezez, overall biatches 300-600 BPM
The entire point of the trip machine series so far has been to challenge players WITHOUT making it super fast. Making a 300 BPM trip machine would destroy that point, making the trip machines just another "Desperate ten footer"(the ones that take normal songs and speed them up to 270 BPM+ i.e. Paranoia Survivor\Survivor Max\Respect) I'd prefer to see a trip machine that earns its diffuculty instead of being turned up to 300 BPM... |
