WOW i have been having MAJOR trouble trying to get my BGAnimations to work. I did everything EXACTLY like the readme file says and when the songs starts,,, it shows my backgrounds picture for about 3 seconds and then turns back and stays that way until the end of the song. I made sure that under Graphic Options i set my Background Mode to ANIMATIONS. Nothing will work. The files are .avi -- can SOMEONE help me? It would be GREATLY appreciated and maybe i could help you in return with something.

~~thank you~~

Is the DWI trying to run a specific background script with its own particular movie(s), or are you simply trying to have random .avi files playing in the background?

If it's a script, make sure the filenames and paths are correct and match, and that you have "Process BG Scripts" set to ON in Background Options. If you're just doing random movies, make sure they're in .\Movies\Random, and that you've got "Random Animations" set to AVI or BOTH.

If you've got all that set already, or doing so doesn't fix the problem, make sure you've got the latest DivX, and try running DWI with the command line option "\altmovies". I have to do this myself to run movies at all.

If none of that helps... erm.gif
