Pump It Up support, please help!

Can sumone explain to me how to go about having pump it up support for my stepmania? i already have stepmania, so do i have to download sumthin for pump support and just throw it in a certain folder? or download a whole dif version of stepmania? please help, thanx.

1. Get StepMania CVS.

2. Download StepMania Pump Support.

3. Install StepMania Pump Support.

4. Load SM, then go to "Select Game" on the main menu.

5. Select Pump.

There you go. You will be able to play your songs with 5 panels, since they are auto-generated. Of course, you can PIU songs with PUMP support.

i dont have stepmania CVS, 3.0 final i believe. can i still have pump support? it does have a "switch game" option on the main menu.

Go to The Stepmania Website and download the Pump It Up support in the downloads section.

ok, i now have Stepmania CVS, and itlets me changed games to Pump it up, but do i add songs the same way as i did for teh ddr songs in stepmania? wat are the filenames for them? .dwi?

If you find some PIU songs, they won't be like one step file, there will be 2 or 3 of them. Just everything of one song into the same folder and you are fine.

hm...i already did that with Beethoven Virus. put them all in its own folder. but the song wont even load up wen i open SM.

Did you set it up right? It should be something like:

Songs
- PIU 3rd Mix
- Beethoven Virus
- Easy_1
- Hard_1
- Crazy_1
- Song.mp3
- Disc.png

And so on.

StepMania automatically generates (auto-gen) the steps for PIU. It works the same way around for DDR, but you may have to press 3 panels at a time. (IE: Beethoven Virus)
