I mean, come on... sure, L'amour is missing some parts, as is Colors... so? What about Era? What about Radical Faith? Why is it nobody ever complains about the old songs, despite them being horribly butchered, yet so many whine endlessly about cuts in the new EX songs? Most are still considerably longer than the average DDR song (around the 1:45-1:50 mark, rather than 1:25-1:30).

i like IIDX, i like ddr. i also like the idea of mixing songs in between games. and about the cutting short, so what?i still like colors, and l'amour...stuff happenes 'cause it has to. but i would like colors eurobeat remix (uncut version) in ddr... that'd be cool.

I dunno there were just some riffs that were in L'amour IIDX that I really really liked... they got rid of some of it and mixed a few parts around.. it just doesn't sound right... frown.gif

I don't have a problem with the other songs... I like Colors ~Extreme~ And V ~Extreme~ and all the others... but L'amour ~Extreme~ just sounds... a little... bad.

If someone is complaining about the "new" songs, you need to kindly tell them to select one of the other 200 songs on the mix to play when it's their turn E10.gif

The only thing that "bugs" me about IIDX songs in DDR is that I'd rather see more "new" songs in DDR. For instance, Extreme had a small amount of new Dancemania tracks (compared to other mixes) and a whole crapload of transplants, or songs from other bemani games. I think this is why Extreme got old fast for me. I'd already worn most of these songs out. heh.

*nods* I can just see the stepchart to that one. E4.gif

Anyway....

I don't think Radical Faith was cut. It sounds pretty close to the IIDX version. Colors seems to have parts from the radio edit, Eurobeat(maybe) and Original Mix. I feel.... is cut a little bit in the middle. And in L'amour, you can barely hear the singing, and most of the piano solo parts were cut.

Era was cut a little before the slowdown, and I don't think DXY! was cut.

I agree with Kakumei, I won't stop playing L'amour, I just don't appreciate the song as much as the BM version... so y'all should calm down... let people think what they want, and stop whining about people whining because that's EXACTLY what you're doing.

The songs are just generally better in IIDX but that doesn't mean I'll stop playing them *nods*

I'd rather complain more about IIDX songs that don't belong on DDR. I mean, why are Colors, Stoic and V in Extreme, and 19 November, Bad Routine, and even IIDX(the song) aren't? Well.. it's more of a genre type of thing for me, I guess.

I agree. A huge amount of the Extreme songs that were transplanted from other games make no sense to be there. While, yes they are fun, they just don't fit.

Pink Rose? The Least 100 sec?

Then again you're just smashing arrows to music anyway, so it really doesn't matter what they put in it.

The way I see it, if it's fun, then it's in the right place. It fits, since, on the big picture, games are about having fun, right? I personally love playing Least 100, but I'm also the sort of guy who wishes BB$ was still here. Those aren't really dance songs, but I don't think any of you would say that they didn't work.

And that's what I'm saying. It doesn't matter where the music comes from, how it gets cut, or how strange it is compared to the original, as long as it's fun, it will be accepted.

Well, I just don't think Stoic belongs in DDR, it is the most annoying sounding song with the same beat over and over again. Someone please save us and put some GOOD IIDX songs in DDR.

Last Message owns your freaking soul(s).

I dont cry bloody murder because this song is awesome. The only 2DX song I actually like on Extreme.

That's not going to change the IIDX song list on extreme.

Colors is actually great in DDR, but then, I've never heard the IIDX version. It's my favorite Extreme song.

Last Message is real good, too.
