Tomosuke's "What Is Love?", off of Beatmania 7th Mix, sounds absolutely nothing like the Haddaway song.

Candy was an existing song before it got turned into credit music for DDRMAX home versions. The arcade version has entirely different ending music.

Candy is why I said MOST, not all. E10.gif

You can bet that Candy (vocal) will be on MAX2 US, so I wouldn't run out and buy an Xbox yet.....

For those of you who like the Xbox version songlist, but dont have an xbox... just get the PC version, it will be the same and you wont have to buy the microsoft console for only one game!

I think the Xbox version has the COOLEST interface ever.

If IIDX and DDR had a child, it would be Ultra Mix. That's just me though.

Glad to see I'm not the only person who thinks the X-Box versions interface is tight. VIVE LA X-BOX INTERFACE.. or something.

Meh...Days Go By. I just hope that So Deep makes the cut. I would much rather have that than to go out and buy the Japanese Max, or an average licensed song with crappy steps.

I am still going to e-mail Konami every day in the hopes that my ranting will garner something.

As for the X-Box version, I don't care.

As a side note, seeing how many songs are on these demos. (about twice as many as the Max demo) does that mean these are coming with over 100 songs?

I remember reading that Max 2 should have over 60 songs, so it's another hefty sized home version. As far as Ultramix for the XBox and most likely the PC, I haven't heard anything. Maybe I just missed it.

I think Tsugaru is also on DDR for XBOX. On the E3 trailer video at IGN, it shows the Tsugaru background. Oh and for some reason the Kind Lady footage in the video shows Challenge steps...O.o weird.

Is this the original Twilight Zone, or the DDR MAX remix?

To be honest, I prefer the remix more than the original.

It's most likely that it is the 2Unlimited song Twilight Zone... meaning the version from Max. I have my fingers crossed for Trance De Janeiro.

There's one song outta all the ddr songs that I like, but I don't think it's been on a series of mixes. "It Only Takes A Minute" from the 7th mix (I think) is my favorite. Do you guys think that was a one time song?

It Only Takes A Minute (by Tavares) was actually on 3rd. You're thinking of A Minute, which is the cover/remix by X-Treme.

It hasn't been on ANY home mixes, and the only arcade mix it was on was MAX2.

I wouldn't hold your breath. It wasn't on Extreme, it wasn't on the home version of MAX2JP. It's severely unlikely to make it over here.

What's so special about this? I instantly recognized some of the scenes from "The Whistle Song" by DJ Aligator Project UK music video!!

Need proof? Go here for a low quality version of the music video: http://www.djaligator.dk/video/whistleuk.htm

Ooo, you're right. While it doesn't guarantee the song will make the cut, it's refreshing to know Konami is at least considering it. Here's to hoping. E7.gif

but check them out... http://www.gamespot.com/ps2/puzzle/ddrmax2us/screenindex.html I see a screen for Breakdown!!!
As for the person who asked for a way to see the pics at IGN, I think these are the same....

Does anyone know if Max2 or Ultramix will be on a demo disk (ex: Jampack) so we don't have to wait so long to try the new ones?
