What are the official arrow colors??

I know this is kind of a stupid question, but i was just wondering, what are the official colors of the arrows? Are the up and down arrows red, and the left and right arrows blue? Or are the up and down arrows blue, and the left and right arrows red?

Thanx Natural Born Hero. I couldn't remember cuz I cant go to the arcade much. And i saw some home pads with the colors reversed.
